Henrico-based Gumenick Properties is pleased to announce that Athletico Physical Therapy has leased approximately 2,617 square feet in the Corner Shops building located at 2363 Roux Street Suite 102 at Libbie Mill-Midtown, adding to an expanding list of retail services in the community. Athletico plans to begin construction on the space immediately and open in Spring 2022. Harrison Hall and Peter Vick of Colliers International represented Gumenick Properties, and Jones Land LaSalle represented Athletico in the transaction.
Athletico provides physical therapy, athletic training, occupational therapy, and specialty programs. These services are also provided to high schools, colleges and professional sports teams. The company has been helping remove pain and discomfort from people’s lives for over 30 years, and has grown to over 630 neighborhood locations throughout 19 states. Their new location at Libbie Mill-Midtown will become their first in the Central Virginia region.

Demand for new-construction townhomes and condominiums continues to surge, with the construction of new phases beginning soon. In addition to the Athletico lease, retail progress at Libbie Mill-Midtown continues with Stables Market recent opening, and Samson Properties & Cardinal Title, All Star Orthodontics, and Habit Modern Massage in construction phases with plans to open in early 2022.
