RIMBY Festival Recap!
/“Don’t let a little rain stop you from getting outside!”
This was the theme at Beyond Boundaries’ 2021 RIMBY (Right In Your Back Yard) Festival hosted at Libbie Lake Pier on Saturday October 9th. It marked the 2nd time the annual fundraising event has been hosted at Libbie Mill, and offered our residents and visitors the opportunity to engage with a variety of businesses and organizations that support Beyond Boundaries’ mission and goal of guiding participants with disabilities, veterans, at-risk youth, and recovery programs on outdoor adventures.
While the day brought a steady helping of wet weather, Libbie Mill - Midtown was a buzz of activity and fun for the whole family. As some visitors completed their “vendor scavenger hunts” by checking in at vendors booths like Airrosti, Wildlife Resources, SheJumps, Sportable, Garden Witchery, Chesterfield County Parks & Recreations and many more, others enjoyed local eats by King of Pops, Yum Yum Food Truck, Noah’s Rocking Buns, BKs Loaded Kitchen, and samples from the event’s BBQ cookoff competitors. The Festival even had adult beverages covered with beer from Hardywood and Vasen! Libbie Mill - Midtown is proud to be a location sponsor of the RIMBY Festival and we hope to welcome even more visitors to next year’s event.
